Hello Everyone!
The mischief is in the making and quickly approaching!
DATE & TIME
Friday, October 10th @ 6:00 pm. The "Mischief" part of Mischief at Midnight Manor begins shortly after 6:00 when all of the guests have arrived. This portion of the party should last until approximately 7:30, when the solution(s) have been found and those deserving of justice shall have it! But that is not all...
The party continues!! Bring your swimsuits if you'd like to swim, and your other pool skills if you'd like to play a game. Midnight Manor is the place to be for as long as we have a swizzle in our sticks!
POTLUCK? Yes.
During the mystery part of the evening, a light assortment of Hors d'oeuvres will be served, and limited cocktails of the era will be available until the 'limited' part reaches its limit. So, a potluck will keep us all happy! If you would like to bring your favorite appetizer, Lorna will be there to assist in setting everything out while all the sleuthing is going on.
As mentioned, a limited selection of cocktails will be served, so please bring your preferred libations.
ATTIRE
If you so desire, you may dress to suit your character. In general, consider what you might wear to an outdoor, poolside cocktail party in the late 1930s. In any case, costumes are not required.
THE MISCHIEF PART:
Many of you have asked me whether you need to memorize lines, etc. The simple answer is no. Each of you have been given your full character profile and backstory. Feel free to share as much of that information with others if you would like. I will also put those full biographies here on the website if anyone is curious about their fellow party goers. That said, some of you may receive an additional packet containing certain hints or suggestions that you may use during the evening. This packet may be delivered to you in physical form: e.g., a little trinket or scrap of paper to be dropped or left somewhere...that sort of thing. I will also be sending some information to some of you that must remain strictly CONFIDENTIAL. I will let you know individually how best to deal with this later.
The key to the party's success is that each clue must be followed precisely to lead correctly to the next clue. Please collaborate on the solution to each clue. If you get into a pickle and are having some trouble, don't worry. That's covered too. Otherwise, that's it! Just be your alternate selves for the evening, and have a smashing good time!
